Repeat after me: "I will not make bad entries." Good, now say that again 1,000 times and before you take a position in any bet, trade, investment or purchase; say it again. I have notoriously made bad to poor entries even when I know better. It's self sabotage at it's finest and it is something that none of us really need to experience as much as we do.
It is hard to stay disciplined in the fast environment of cryptos, but if you can manage to not make that bad entry; your gains will be so much better. Today, I took an entry into Verge which I knew was too high, but the FOMO got me. Will it matter in 30 days? Probably not, but I also do not have to be in the red tonight like I am had I just waited for the pullback that was guaranteed to come. I could be enjoying gains while it starts to climb from here, but instead I will be getting back to even. The smart trader makes more money and has less stress. Next trade, ask yourself is this really a good entry point.
