Why do the traditions of eating buffalo and beef differ,
for example in Meulaboh and Central Aceh and surrounding areas many people consume buffalo meat, whereas in Aceh Besar and several other places eat a lot of beef. Is there anything to do with the process of Islamization of Aceh faster in cattle-eating areas and only later in buffalo eating areas, because in Aceh before coming Islam was still dominated by Hinduism which sanctified cows, places where Hindu influence was still felt in Aceh such as Suak Infrapuri, Indrapatra etc.
