Learning how to draw can be difficult at first but once you study art basics and keep on practicing you will see progress. I was really curious before how to make portraits of people when I was young. It was my dream to be able to draw people, now I can. However I need more practice!
Here are some portraits i've done of people
- colored pencils: skin tone starts with yellow, taupe, yellow green, pink, fleshtone, orange, red, brown. in my drawing i didnt use orange and fleshtone though.
2-3-4-5 graphite and colored pencils
6 - 7 watercolor
- caricatures
9 - 10 self portrait in grayscale: graphite and charcoal this is me by the way :) and the charcoal on brown paper is a classical art
- another colored portrait using colored pencils
IF you want to start making art, there are many things to study
here are some things you can start with.
color theory, lines, shapes, shading, tonal bars, gradation, dark to light and light to dark and the kinds of shading like cross hatching etc. :)
Hope you enjoyed :)
