In the old area of Sighisoara (Romania) there is still one of the old traditions of the area. In the past, the town hall made important announcements for the town community with the help of the officers. They were endowed with a drum and a gong to attract the attention of the community. They were accompanied by a young lady.
After the announcement was made, the words were spoken: "I said!". Then the three went further into the city to inform the community.
