Some of you that have been reading my posts or following for a while know that I am friends with the musicians known as "Media Bear", who make parody music that is outspoken against mask mandates and vaccine passports. Last month, my wife and I traveled to South Carolina to go to the "Flatoberfest" festival and do some filming work for them, and really, just to hang out and have a good time. I finally got 
to create a #Hive account, but I have not convinced him to start posting here yet, he is still leery about #Crypto in general, but I am working on it. In the meantime, my wife, @QueenBee1977, and I were invited to the wedding of some other members of the Media Bear Family - Michael and Caroline - and of course, we said we would be there! I became aware of Media Bear when they put out their first song. I was in their chat room on YouTube one day and said some things that "Karen" agreed with, and the next time I was in the chat, I had been made a moderator! I thought that was really cool, and started asking questions, and I liked the answers I received. The "group" that makes up Media Bear is just a family and a friend that was having fun with everything going on and ended up going viral. They are super humble and are really just trying to get people to think about everything going on. That was something I could get behind, so I did...

The family of the bride and groom had gone all out with this wedding, and honestly, the couple getting married deserved it. There must have been twenty thousand dollars spent on the dinner, wedding, and reception, but seriously, if you ever met the two getting married, they are just the most friendly, humble, and kind people I think I have ever met. As a couple, they are adorable, and I pray they have a very long and happy marriage together...

The Wedding... La boda...
The actual wedding ceremony was in a Catholic Church, at the request of the groom's family. The bride and groom are actually protestant Christians, but in order to keep peace in the family, they agreed. I had never been to a Catholic wedding, and I have to admit, it was very cool to see! The ceremony and the sermon given by the priest were all very heartfelt and the smiles on everyone's faces were genuine. There was a lot of love in that Church that day!
La ceremonia de la boda real fue en una iglesia católica, a pedido de la familia del novio. Los novios son en realidad cristianos protestantes, pero para mantener la paz en la familia, estuvieron de acuerdo. Nunca había estado en una boda católica, y debo admitir que fue muy bueno verlo. La ceremonia y el sermón del sacerdote fueron muy sentidos y las sonrisas en los rostros de todos fueron genuinas. ¡Había mucho amor en esa Iglesia ese día!

Party Time!
The wedding reception was held at a place called The Barn Event Center of the Smokies and let me tell you, it was freaking awesome! They had an open bar and great food! The D.J. was great and very lively, and the staff was attentive and helpful. As far as scenery, it was rustic and cozy and just, well, awesome! And as you can see from the next photo, there were special guests too!
La recepción de la boda se llevó a cabo en un lugar llamado The Barn Event Center of the Smokies y déjame decirte, ¡fue increíble! ¡Tenían barra libre y excelente comida!
