From Madagascar to Mauritius fly 2 and a half hours.
Here it is, the island of my dreams!
The landscape of Mauritius is relatively flat, there are several sharp rocks in the center.
Half of the island is occupied by fields, the other half is residential development.
Mostly low-rise
A huge cock was waiting for me on the shore :D
I do not know how in expensive hotels, but in public places the sea is bad. Since the island is surrounded by reefs, there are a lot of dead corals and stones at the bottom.
As I understand it, all decent people sail here on yachts and catamarans. For them, the island has a lot of cool golf clubs, coastal restaurants and hotels. Ordinary travelers are left with a unique opportunity to sail between hundreds of boats that have flooded the coast.
