Today is a cloudy day in Bucharest so I had to write a second post in a row about beautiful Greece and summer, to cheer myself up!
Corfu its the second largest island in the Ionian sea, after Kerkyra, and it is pretty far away from Romania so the trip was exhausting, a 20 hour trip by bus.
It was my second time when I visited Greece,. I was with my best friends, we went on a only girls allowed vacation, before our last year in university.
Unfortunately we did not rent a car, but we stayed in Sidari and we were fortunate because from there we made daily trips to Corfu town by day, by night, Paleokastritsa. We also took a boat trip to some interesting caves!

My relationship with my girls improved,in my opinion this trip made our friendship stronger, better, but of course we fought a bit, but immediately reconciled.

“Gradually the magic of the island [Corfu] settled over us as gently and clingingly as pollen.”

Tip: I strongly advise you to visit Greece in May-June or late August- early October, because prices are better and the weather is perfect, in July-August is far to hot.
I enjoyed my stay here, but Thassos was a better option for me.
Did you visited Corfu? Which one is your favorite Greek island?
