A visit to Schengen

Hi,

today I was traveling to Luxembourg for a meeting. I know, I know, Hive account@sorin.cristescu will get upset on me as I did not warn him and even had time for a chat, because I had some customer with me in the car. I try to avoid taking people with me as it cuts a lot from my independence.

So, I told my customer to go and visit Schengen.

Yes, Schengen like the Schengen states. Here in schengen, Luxembourg was the treaty signed. Right over the river is Germany. You can see it in the photo.

Schengen does not equal the European Union and the European Union does not equal Schengen. Both help for an unified Europe, something that other big states as the USA , Russia and China don't particular want, but this is another story. I'm a fan of the EU and Schengen.

I was here today, where history was made. I think the place was chosen arbitrary, as it is close to Germany and France.

As it was sunny and quiet I really enjoyed the 10 minutes spent there as we needed to go to the meeting.
