The greatest pride of the city is the monument of Christ the Redeemer - 38-meter statue of Jesus Christ, built on the top of the Corcovado granite mountain in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The statue is one of the symbols of Rio and an impressive and characteristic object in this city.
