Istanbul is one of the largest cities in Turkey. Although not as the capital of Turkey, Istanbul is the most important city in the country. Every year, many tourists visit Istanbul because of the many interesting places that are not owned by other countries.
Yes, rich history has made Istanbul a European Capital Culture in 2010. If you are interested in history, Istanbul is a great destination for learning while traveling. The Istanbul-controlled background of Byzantine, Constantinople and the Ottoman Empire makes Istanbul a historical treasure as well as buildings worth visiting.
On this trip, the first place I visited was Sultanahmet. This region is the most touristic region in Turkey. In one area there are many buildings that must be visited by tourists. The buildings are Aya Sofya, Topkapi Palace, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern and Grand Bazar. To visit all the buildings must be done one full day until we are satisfied.
In addition to seeing the life of the local residents of Istanbul in Taksim. I went back to explore interesting places to stop off. One of them is Galata Tower. To achieve it, I just need to walk. Galata Tower is very beautiful to be enjoyed at sunrise. We can see the amazing city of Istanbul from the top of the tower. Seeing the sea of Bosphorus that divides the two cities of Istanbul into parts of Europe and Asia.
Right now I just finished writing a book about my month-long trip in Istanbul. In the near future, I will make a post about my book that has been launched.
