Have you ever traveled from bireuen district - takengon - nagan raya ?. I first made the trip last year.
Why am I doing this trip?
I am a trader of agricultural equipment domiciled in bireuen district. In carrying out my work, I sometimes visit some of my customers. At that time there were two field officers from the product company I was selling to visit customers along the bireuen - takengon - nagan raya street.
Usually to travel from bireun to nagan raya I travel through banda aceh city. This route can be reached with better road conditions through the coast, but with a longer distance.
Beautiful view from the peak of Singgah Mata.
According to the information available and the experience of one of my friends who participated, along the path we were going through was a heavy field. Full of ascent and heavy drop. The three of us drive a car that can travel the weight.
Because of the curiosity of how the roads and scenery on this route I am participating.

Landscape of the local rice fields. On the side of the road we passed also we found beautiful scenery of rice fields and hills.

We arrived at the pedestrian bridge over a river in the beutong ateuh.
You can see the river with a swift and fresh water.
This is the view at the top of the eye stop. Below there are seen some rivers that branch off in nagan raya area. from here we still need about 3 hours to get to the destination.
You can see how the condition of the road decreases at the peak of singgah mata.
You can also see how steep the climbing road conditions are at the peak of singgah mata.
The journey from bireuen to nagan raya through gayo plateau traveled 238 km distance.
