Poznan is a wonderful city in Poland, which I visited in May. To be honest Poznan has never been on my bucket list for travelling, but my thinking quickly changed after my visit. The city streets a bit outside of the center mildly reminded me of England, but the center was full of amazing architectures and beautiful monuments/buildings.
On the main square you can expect to see lots of street vendors selling souvenirs, and I was pleasantly surprised with their behaviour, which is why I did not try to undercut their price, but just paid in full, as being a non-pushy and a kind seller is something I respect.
The city itself is beautiful whether it is sunny or raining, so if anyone decides to visit, you should not worry about the weather. It has to be mentioned though, you can see the whole of the city in merely two days of relaxing sightseeing or in one day if you are more of a "faster" traveler.
The food there is amazing as well, but the prices are something else. You may find yourself spending a lot less money than initially expecting because of such low prices. All in all, after visiting Poznan, I decided I will visit this city once again in the future and i recommend everyone traveling through Poland to make a stop in this memorable city.
