The beauty of many who deceive the eye. Do not be tempted quickly seen from the outside, try to identify the deepest content with a careful view and not in the shortest tempo. A lot of beauty is wearing the eyes, but it contains a lot of falsehood in it.
That's what I found at Hotel Alpha Inn, Medan. In the lobby room, looks fresh and beautiful flowers. With wide green leaves as promising fertility and freshness. It is the leaves that capture the dirt of dust and provide oxygen for the guests. Not just in the lobby, in different corners, there are also similar flowers.
Apparently, the flowers are just a false beauty because it is just a plastic flower. In today's all-plastic, discovering something original is a satisfaction. People want to enjoy the original in many ways. The orchid flowers at Kuala Namu Airport, Medan, are more beautiful because of their authenticity, although at first glance it also looks like plastic.
Alpha Inn is located on one of the busy roads in Medan, at Jalan Gatot Subroto No. 148A, Sekip, Medan Petisah, Medan City, North Sumatra 20113 phone (061) 4514006. Because there is a need in Sumatera Eye Center (SMEC) on Jalan Iskandar Younger ones not too far away, this hotel became my choice. There is a 61 Medan hotel which can be reached by walking about five minutes to SMEC, but I have already posted hotel reviews before.
However, the location of the Alpha Inn is actually rather responsibility when dealing with SMEC or if you want a walk to Plaza Medan Fair. The location of this shopping center is also located on Jalan Gatot Subroto. But when walking, quite far and hot, not to mention the smoke pollution of vehicles around it. But if you take a taxi is also a responsibility because it is only 400 meters away.
The internet network was also not very satisfactory at Aplha Inn, which made me forced to use my own network. If you need fast internet, obviously cannot be recommended.
The atmosphere in the rooms is also not very comfortable, especially for the rooms adjacent to the stairs. The sound of knocking shoes on the floor sounded very loud, and it eased the comfort. In the middle of the night, the sound of the knock sounded frightening like the steps in a horror movie.
That morning, I came down a few minutes before 10 am because I was busy writing in my room. At the bottom, breakfast is no longer available. So, I can not judge the taste of food at the Alpha Inn. Even so, the food served is certainly not made of plastic.[]
Keindahan Palsu di Alpha Inn
Keindahan banyak yang menipu mata. Jangan cepat tergoda yang terlihat dari luar, cobalah kenali isi terdalam dengan pandangan yang saksama dan tidak dalam tempo yang sesingkat-singkatnya. Banyak keindahan yang melenakan mata, tetapi mengandung banyak kepalsuan di dalamnya.
Itulah yang saya temukan di Hotel Alpha Inn, Medan. Di ruang lobi, terlihat bunga yang segar dan indah. Dengan dedaunan yang lebar menghijau seolah menjanjikan kesuburan dan kesegaran. Dedaunan itulah yang menangkap kotoran debu dan menyediakan oksigen bagi para tamu. Bukan hanya di lobi, di berbagai sudut juga terdapat bunga serupa.
Ternyata, bunga-bunga itu hanya keindahan semu karena hanyalah bunga plastik. Di zaman sekarang yang serba plastik, menemukan sesuatu yang asli adalah sebuah kepuasan. Orang ingin menikmati yang asli dalam banyak hal. Bunga-bunga anggrek di Bandara Kuala Namu, Medan, menjadi lebih indah karena keasliannya, meski sepintas juga terlihat seperti plastik.
Alpha Inn terletak di salah satu ruas jalan sibuk di Medan, yakni di Jalan Gatot Subroto Nomor 148A, Sekip, Medan Petisah, Kota Medan, Sumatera Utara 20113 telepon (061) 4514006. Karena ada keperluan di Sumatera Eye Center (SMEC) di Jalan Iskandar Muda yang tidak terlalu jauh, hotel ini menjadi pilihan saya. Ada hotel 61 Medan yang bisa ditempuh dengan berjalan kaki sekitar lima menit ke SMEC, tetapi saya sudah pernah memuat review hotel tersebut sebelumnya.
Namun, lokasi Alpha Inn sesungguhnya agak tanggung jika berurusan dengan SMEC atau jika ingin jalan-jalan ke Plaza Medan Fair. Lokasi pusat perbelanjaan ini juga terletak di Jalan Gatot Subroto. Tetapi kalau berjalan kaki, lumayan jauh dan panas, belum lagi polusi asap kendaraan di sekitarnya. Tapi kalau naik taksi juga tanggung karena hanya berjarak 400 meter.
Jaringan internet juga tidak terlalu memuaskan di Aplha Inn sehingga membuat saya terpaksa menggunakan jaringan sendiri. Kalau membutuhkan internet yang cepat, jelas tidak bisa direkomendasikan.
Suasana di kamar juga tidak terlalu nyaman, terutama untuk kamar-kamar yang berdekatan dengan tangga. Suara ketukan sepatu di lantai terdengar sangat keras, dan itu mengurang kenyamanan. Di tengah malam, suara ketukan itu terdengar menakutkan seperti langkah-langkah dalam film horor.
Pagi itu, saya turun beberapa menit sebelum pukul 10 pagi karena sibuk menulis di kamar. Sampai di bawah, sarapan sudah tidak tersedia lagi. Jadi, saya tidak dapat menilai cita rasa makanan di Alpha Inn. Meski begitu, makanan yang disajikan dapat dipastikan bukan terbuat dari plastik.[]
