Good Morning Lombok
Gili Islands, Indonesia
There is nothing more tranquil than getting up before sunrise to see dawn break. On a trip to the Gili Islands, I was rewarded for my early (5am) wake-up with this amazing view of the Island of Lombok. Not a soul on the beach and plenty of time to capture this magical moment! I am always amazing by the two faces of these islands, the quite mornings, with boats silently bobbing in the waves, and the hectic afternoons and evenings, where the beaches come to life with tourists and business.
