The reason why these places had never been visited by travelers and tourist, it's an strenuous thing to plan a trip going to this remote places. PILI KARIHATAG MALIMONO
It is located in Surigao del Norte, CARAGA Region of Mindanao. If you purposely go by car, it's three hours drive from Surigao City to Malimono. But if you prefer to commute it is four times connecting trip until you reach barangay Karihatag down to Pili. It's a long journey before you reach its destination but thanks to the cemented road that lately developed.
The beautiful stretch of water separated from the sea forming a small body of water that overflows drains during the rain. It's a shallow pond close to larger lake separated by a barrier such as levee. A crystal clear water surrounded by rock formation that you never imagine how Mother Earth creates such natural phenomena.
A breathtaking cave at the side of lagoon that never exploited by human perfect for camping for days.
Watching the sunset in front of me feeling me nearer to where it stand. It creates an amazing sparkling lights through the sea.
You can't find cottages here to stay since it is prohibit to build structures by the bureau yet some friendly local people offer free shelter as hospitality for visiting their place. We prefer to camped at the cave to enjoy the peaceful scenery away from the crowd. This is one of the best camping experienced I had.
