First post about my vacations (mostly) in Vienna (in following days I will portray some other places that I have visited in Austria) was about meeting some hive bees :)
Following photos are selection of maaany in which parts of Vienna can be seen from above.
Nest day after my arrival, friends with whom I have been staying, took me to two hills on the edge of Vienna.
One of them was Kahlenberg,on the top of which is an old church, now closed for visitors.
Amazing view and very nice hiking place, for those more in favor of long walks. Bonus: adventure park in the wood, which we did not go due to my host health reason.
Reachable by public transportation.
Last day of my visit, took me and my two friends to visit the building that can be seen at the first photo - big black spot in the distance :)
That building is, in fact, Donau city tower 1, the highest in Austria (220 meters high,250 meters including the antenna) and we were at the restaurant at 57th floor.
Such a pity that sides of the elevator are not transparent so passengers can not only viscelar but also visual experience just-few-seconds-ride to the top.
WOOW
preparing for quantum jump ;P
Have you been in Vienna (Q not for you guys living there :))?
Best impressions?
