Kipu Life Trip Day 09 -
On our 3rd day in the Amazon and out 9th day on our trip in Peru we went even deeper in the Amazon before ultimately making the journey back to the city of Puerto Maldonado.
The day started off with our most intensive hike through the Amazon yet.
It was not without its rewards as we stumbled upon some trees with bananas growing.
And beautiful flowers which had recently bloomed.
After a long morning of hiking we returned to our sanctuary (lodge) and were fortunate enough to have a delicious meal waiting for us of freshly cooked food that was grown on the property.
Following lunch it was time to recharge before the journey back to the city of Puerto Maldonado. A journey that would require rowing a boat for 1 hour, then hiking through the jungle for 1.5 hours and then a 1.5 hour motor boat ride.
Leaving a bit of heaven in the Amazon --
And finally arriving back in Puerto Maldonado to finish off the day...
