On my last trip to Egypt I stayed a couple of days in Abydos. Whilst there I went to a Coptic Church. There was some debate as to whether they could show a woman, yet we were taken to see these ancient tunnels which go from underneath this church in several directions. I loved Indiana Jones, so was ready to go in & explore ;-) yet that was not to be.
