Now Vietnam is a place where about 9 million people lives in Saigon city and its just jam packed with motorbikes !! But because of fears of the Corona virus outbreak in China, a lot of people are just refraining from going out.
The street behind me for instance has so much less people walking it in comparison to the last time I was here.
Vietnam is just filled with colors, from its markets where these vegetables are straight off the farms and fresh... most importantly, its FRESH !!! You can feel it when you eat it.
Now like I said ... the city seems way much more quiet in comparison from the last time I was here. So this is a pretty common sight where shop owners just wait for more customers to come by.
Here is a shot smack in the middle of the city. A water fountain where the colors are just really beautiful at nights. I guess this is where you get more people hanging around, its a great place to take selfies or to just to take a stroll with a loved one.
I just love how they decorated the whole street with lovely colorful flower like decorations. This is in celebration of Tet the Vietnamese New Year.
Tết, Vietnamese New Year, Vietnamese Lunar New Year or Tet Holiday, is the most important celebration in Vietnamese culture. The word is a shortened form of Tết Nguyên Đán, which is Sino-Vietnamese for "Feast of the First Morning of the First Day". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/T%E1%BA%BFt
I always like this shot of the People Committee Building in Ho Chi Minh. Anyways, Vietnam is just lovely and great food, amazing culture and lovely people.
Thats just my little walk in Ho Chi Minh ... cheers and hope you are having a great weekend.
