Good morning from Athens, today i will present you one of my favorite towns in Greece, it is quite far from Athens but close to Thessaloniki city if you ever want to visit it. I would say best season is autumn and winter as nature around the town is simply magnificent. Wild forests in close distance, lakes, wild life everything that someone needs to relax from everyday noisy and tiring life of a city.
The town is known for its many Byzantine churches, Byzantine and Ottoman-era domestic architecture, fur clothing industry, and trout and it has only around 20000 inhabitants. Food is really delicious and you wont easily forget it. Of course if you are lucky enough to be there during Christmas season when snow covers city you will be simply amazed.
