Information about the Country

• Languages: English, Maori, NZSL (New Zealand Sign Language);
• Capital: Wellington
• Currency: New Zealand Dollar
• Old Colony of The Netherlands and UK
• The climate of New-Zealand is varied because of the diverse landscape

Why? 

Because I am a huge LOTR fan duhhh....
LOTR was one of the reasons I gained such an interest in the country, but it isn't the only thing that intrigues me about the most beautiful country on Earth.

Landscape

New-Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, they have all sorts of climates (deserts, mountain ranges, lakes, forests,...) 

Rugby

Rugby is the most popular sport in New-Zealand. The national team is famous for always playing in black and start the game with the traditional war dance 'Haka'. 

Fun fact

I once met the primary minister of New-Zealand (John Key)  in my hometown, Ypres. He asked me to take a picture of him during the most snowy day of that year! 

I didn't now who he was until I watched the news together with my grandparents later that night and recognized him on tv! (He was there to honor fallen soldiers of WW1)
 

So this was a little bit about my dream destination New-Zealand.
