Hello.
Today I will tell you about a small island lost in the Pacific, which is not easy to find on the map if you do not know in which part of the world it is located. Many have heard of this place due to the fact that there lived a great artist Paul Gauguin and many pictures he wrote living on this island.
As you probably already guessed this mysterious island is called Tahiti.

Another 117 islands are located on an area comparable to Europe and all together they form French Polynesia.

These islands used to be all French colonies, and therefore the inhabitants know French well. France continues to take part in the life of its former colony and supports with money and with the help of specialists who help establish life on the islands.

Tahiti and the rest of the islands of French Polynesia are a great place for lovers of wildlife and seclusion, only 67 islands are inhabited, there are completely deserted places without roads, electricity, communication and in general any benefits of civilization, you can get there only by water.
Beautiful beaches, rich vegetation, gentle ocean and not too many tourists, just a paradise for secluded holidays.

Local people lead a measured and calm way of life, are in no hurry (where can one hurry on an island lost in the ocean?). There is no special work here, there is no industry, people live poorly and survive due to benefits, help from France, eat what they catch in the ocean. Despite the poverty of the population, the products are almost twice as expensive as in Europe. People here are very kind and sympathetic, perhaps the paradise nature and climate affect the mood, are always ready to help in a difficult situation.
The majority of Tahitians like different creativity, almost all are engaged in some art, paint clothes, do wood carving, and everyone loves to dance from children to the elderly.
The most important beauties are hidden in the Pacific Ocean. Lagoon Polynesia is a real paradise for diving enthusiasts, plunging with an aqualung or mask into the waters of the Pacific Ocean, you find yourself in a magnificent and brilliant aquarium, fascinating with its beauty.

If you like extreme and you want a thrill then you can swim with sharks. Near Tahiti there is a migration path for humpback whales and sometimes they can be seen from the shore.
Of course, rest in Tahiti is an expensive pleasure, but if you decide to visit Tahiti, then you will not remain indifferent, plunge into the primitive world, enjoy the amazing beauty of places untouched by civilization, see with your own eyes rare marine inhabitants which were only seen in the picture, it costs money spent.
Thank you.
