Mondikot Deer Farm is located around 34km from Kota Kinabalu city. The place is surrounded by natural setting and a good place for a nature therapy.
I visited this place together with my colleagues recently and it took us almost 1 hour to arrive there. Road conditions is quite bad and the best car to use to go there is by 4 wheel, anyway small cars would be just ok but it will take you probably more than 2 hours? The roads is not sealed and partially damaged by the big trucks and also rain i guess? The hilly roads will make you a bit of temporary dizziness but the journey along the way is worthwhile.
Despite the challenges along the road, once u reach there, you will be paid with the beautiful scenery, greens, unpolluted river and as well the natural ambiance.
This place is suitable for camping, team building or short weekend gateaway with friends. Don't forget to bring along your stuff especially the COLD ONE 😋.
