A few kilometers away - hidden treasure. We decided on walking there. I hate walking. Not physical, more of a psychological exhaustion. I’m a run-or-stay-at-home kind of guy.
But I have obligations here, so I dared go anyway. The road promised quick returns. A eleventh century stone church awaited. Only a lizard heralded our approach. He watched my group wearily. We trod on. With such pretty company, nothing is too much of a hassle!
I tried to picture it more of a monument to humanity than a church. I mean 1000 year old little abode? Is that cool or what?

Everything worth writing about ends with beer. I found a place to chill after our trek. So it goes.
