One of the cleanest flowing natural waters in the whole country! Rich flora and fauna!
I wanted to swim up to a secluded area in the river itself and take some photos but I was afraid of getting my phone wet! My girlfriend said I was crazy and that I should stop thinking in Steemit colors all the time :)
It is amazing that you are actually able to swim up the little waterfalls and get a nice clean, refreshing massage by the water-flow! I don’t understand how is this not more popular.
A simple guide in 5 steps:
take your family tent
put it on a meadow next to the Zeleni Kut - a family B&B. The view from the place:
- have lunch there - one of the best pizza I’ve tasted. Fresh toppings and lots of them. Budget prices. Healthy options available too!
jump in the river and dive in a myriad of fish and other cool creatures.
open a beer
Bliss!
Locals say that a day spent on the Mrežnica River is one day of life more!
