Field trips - the dreaded experience of any self-respecting teacher. Endless screaming and swearing but nowhere to run and hide.
On the bright side you get to visit beautiful nature that you might skip otherwise. I am glad I had a chance to stroll through Nature Park Papuk.
It took us 4 and a half hour drive from Zagreb to this hilly area.
Very much preserved and untouched. Not many crowds yet since it is some ways from the coast. Still, there is an occasional idiot among the bunch as you can see in the picture.
Walkabout consists of an artificial lake and a stony area with a waterfall. Lots of shrubbery and weeds! Endemic snails and clear creek water!
