Sa Calobra it is one of the most famous places on Mallorca and has been an inspiration for artists in the past and present.
In the past it was a small village with only 35 inhabitants. Today Sa Calobra is accessed by a unique road built in the middle of the greater mountains of Mallorca, with breathtaking views! The most interesting part of the road, which has 14 km of extension, is the so-called "tie knot" a ring of 270 degrees.
They are two beaches where the connection between both is a tunnel made in the middle of the rocks. For me the biggest surprise, is when you arrive at the second beach, which is besides an incredibly beautiful canyon that crosses the entire island of Mallorca, a great place to go to if you are a hiker.
