If you're looking for an exquisite, peaceful & breathtaking location, add this into your bucket list when you plan to travel in Negros Occidental. For me, it is an extraordinary experience and a must visit with your family and friends.
The place is not far from the center of Silay City but secluded enough for relaxing surrounded by nature. The place is a blissful sanctuary which reminds me of Bali Indonesia. The place is absolutely lovely surrounded with big towering old trees.
I'm not really aware that this place exists in Negros until my niece asked me to check this place from the facebook. Our main plan was to explore the site and have some photographs of the place. Upon checking the photos and client's reviews I was totally excited and keen to visit the place and see for myself. Actually, I was not really into the food but because I'm after to the experience and the location itself. I made a reservation for two for me and my niece a 5-course meal lunch on the same day itself.

Fine Dining Experience
Needless to say, it is one of a kind, a destination dining place that jumps right out of a dream. But since it is a restaurant, let’s talk about the food.
This is one of a kind and you will not get the experience elsewhere. Their lunch and dinner fares consist of five courses–from appetizer to dessert.

When you go inside the property, a staff will usher you to where you are supposed to be seated. I noticed that the table already had my name. So it is imperative that you call or text for reservations to make sure that you have a place and of course, you have food. Otherwise, you will waste your travel coming here.

My niece and I were enjoying the meal. The food is delicious.For me, the price of the 780 PESOS is too expensive but its worthy due to the ambiance and serenity of the place provides.

Verdict: Is Punong Gary’s Place worth it?
It depends on what you came here for. If you want to appreciate nature, a beautiful landscape, quality food, and with a mindset to enjoy good things, you will get what you pay for. But if you come here ravenous and looking to stuff yourself, then this place is not for you. When we went there on a Sunday, all their tables were full with big groups of people, mostly families. Although it’s not for everybody, there is a market for a place like this. And it’s nice that people here now have a choice.
