Hola dear Steemian.
Yesterday I came back from the Guajira Desert in Colombia. It was a 5 days trip in some extreme condition but it was really worth it. We stop first in Cabo de la Vela wich is a small fisherman town on the coast of Colombia. They had almost no tourism 5-6 years ago. It started to get really popular as people started to practice kitesurf on its shore. It's a perfect spot. The community out there, the Wayuu, was really kind and welcoming to us. Even if they don't have a lot of money and especially a really hard access to water, they keep smilling to you. It was a great experience.
Then, we headed to the north in 4x4 to the northest point in South America call Punta Galinas.
And to this beautiful beach where the desert meets the ocean.
We slept in Chinchorro every night. It's a larger hammock made by the Wayuu. I highly recommand this trip if you're in Colombia. Lots of culture and amazing scenery.
