After 6 years of not going back, I finally decided to go and visit my hometown.
I'm originally from Culiacan, Sinaloa. MX., Culiacan is a city located in Northwestern Mexico, and it is the capital of the state of Sinaloa.

Culiacan has a semiarid climate. Summers are very, very hot and humid ☀️ which I personally don't like, (I don't know how I live there for 18 yrs!😰), and shade temperatures can reach 45°C (113°F)!!.
One of the best things I can talk about my hometown is that the food is really, like REALLY GOOD!, we have the best seafood 🍤 and the best Tacos 🌮! Every time I go, I'm not kidding, I can't stop eating.
Right when we arrived, my aunt had already made some breakfast for us, this is a typical culichi breakfast and it's delicious.

Later that day, my dad took me to get my favorite drink of all time, it's called Tejuino and it's basically a cold beverage made from fermented corn. Tejuino is made from corn dough, the same kind that is used for tortillas and tamales. The dough is mixed with water and piloncillo (unrefined brown sugar) and boiled until the liquid is very thick. The liquid is then allowed to ferment very slightly. The resulting drink is generally served cold, with lime juice, a pinch of salt and a scoop of shaved ice or lime sorbet, my family owns multiple Tejuino businesses in the city.

When it comes to sports, we are very passionate about baseball, our team is called Tomateros and we have won eleven domestic titles and two Caribbean world series, one in 1996 and in 2002.

Sorry if my pictures are not the best quality, they are taken with a cellphone 🙊, not a camera.
