Through out December last year to this morning 6th January 2018, I have been moving from one place to another all for the purpose of promoting steemit in Nigeria.
To be sincere with you, it has not been easy as it sounds due to the condition of our Nigerian roads.
The journey started when I traveled to Delta state for the SteemUpDelta MeetUp which is project termed #project20milloinnaija aimed at inviting/introducing steemit to 20 million Nigerians.
I, ,
,
and
. Spent a good time together in the same hotel while we were in Delta state, Warri to be precise. We spent a week in Warri and later traveled to Asaba where we started working on the SteemCamp 2018 project. In the process we spent almost a week or more in Asaba.
While we worked on the project, we all took some time out to tour around the city of Asaba courtesy to , because that's where he resides. Hence, most of our time was spent working during the Chrismas celebration and the New year celebration as well. But that notwithstanding we went to church to thank God for a successful year and also to commit the new year into HIS able hands.
We (,
,
and myself) later traveled to Sapele for a meeting and we spent two days in Sapele. Courtesy to

etc. At Sapele also we met one of team member, the Graphix Lord. He is no other person than
.
From Sapele we traveled to Benin City in Edo State where we could get a vehicle going to Kaduna State. We got to Benin City at around 4.00PM GMT + 1.
We paid for sit and the vehicle took off at about 6.00PM GMT +1.
Now The Journey Begins
I have never been so scared in my life while travelling. Though the driver started the journey smoothly but at a point it seems he wanted to fly not minding the numerous potholes on the road. We the passengers complained until our saliva synchronized with our tongue. We got tired of complaining and let the journey be in God's hands.
While we were transiting from states to states, the weather became very cold when we got to Kogi state. I almost turned into a statue right on my sit due to the freezing cold of the weather and that was how the weather was until we got to Kaduna state.
Before I forget, dropped in Abuja(Federal Capital Territory) while
,
and I continued the journey to Kaduna.
The Intriguing Part of the journey
We finally entered Kaduna state and the driver dropped us a popular roundabout called Leventis Round About. The moment we got out of the vehicle around 5.00AM GMT+1, I noticed some suspicious movement of suspected criminals. Though I have heard stories of people being robbed at that particular place because the place is isolated at that hour in the morning. I noticed that these said individuals will stop walking if they see the light of an incoming vehicle. I quickly told that we should walk to where there is bright light and while we walked to that place, these same criminals that God will soon punish, followed us. Dear readers I was terrified and we stopped one of the incoming vehicle and followed it to where we could see transport to our various houses.
Conclusion.
I am very okay now, on reaching my house I first took a warm bath and a hot cup of coffee to get rid of the cold. Said a short prayer in thanksgiving and now sharing the experience.
