Was lucky enough to find myself on the beautiful island of La Gomera one of the Canary islands. It is a little more difficult to reach then the more popular tourist islands but worth the extra evert.
From the desert like landscape below to the cloud forest above the island has many micro climates.
The contrast is something that has to be seen to be believed. Was actually bizarre, on one hand near bare volcanic
rock and sunny beaches a short drive and lush cloud forest left intact from the last ice age.

Just a short walk from Valle Gran Rey was this amazing water fall an oasis.
Beautiful tree ferns and fresh water.
Had the nicest bowl of soup in my life here watercress soup yummy.
Absolutely amazing.
After a trek up the hills not to far from the coast this was the view.
Would highly recommend a visit to this amazing island, will be sure to pay a return visit.
