By using the earliest flight, we landed in Banda Aceh at about 9am. From the airport, we immediately visited the first culinary tour location highly recommended by our colleagues: Yan Kari Kambing. The restaurant is pretty simple to me, and it's not far from the airport. Although the name Kari Goat, but the menu provided is not just a goat. There is a flight attendant chicken (supposedly given a name like this because of his long thighs, connoted with flight attendants), dried fried, fried shrimp, and fried ati-ampela which are all given the typical herbs and spices of Aceh. Well, this menu is pretty terrible for people who have problems with uric acid and cholesterol.
The taste of the cuisine is very tasty, but unlike the cuisine in Jakarta in general, the spice is slightly spicy. You could say less sweet, And while in Aceh, it feels like all the dishes of Aceh like this, spice herb a little less kick. However about the drink, the Aceh people seem to like sugar. Proven from the sweet drinks and can be spelled out too much sugar. It is inversely proportional to its cuisine
Sabang Hiill
In the afternoon, the journey to Sabang followed by crossing by ferry from Ulee Lheue Port to Balohan Port in Sabang. The journey is taken for approximately 45 minutes. From this Port to Sabang City itself is taken within 30 minutes. In the middle of the journey, we stopped for a moment in one of the spot icon of Sabang City. In this spot we can take pictures ria with background writing "I Love Sabang", while in front presented the view of the city of Sabang that leads to the sea seen from the hill.
We stay at Hotel Sabang Hill. As the name implies, this hotel is on a hill, surrounded by forests and wild plants. The hotel is quite simple, far from the luxuries of the hotels we know in the capital. However, because of its very strategic location on the hill, the scenery presented was pretty okay. From the top of the hill visitors can see the side of Sabang City and Sabang Bay while enjoying the panorama of the sunset.
beach well three
The event on the second day, spent by visiting tourist attractions in Pulau Weh, Sabang. The first destination is Pantai Sumur Tiga located on the east side of Weh Island. Named Well Three because on this beach there are 3 wells that are freshwater along the coast. Quite unique because the location of the well just a few meters from the shore.
The beach has soft white sand. Because the waves are not too big, this beach is suitable for swimming location. Unfortunately with all the beauty presented, the beach area is quite quiet. Whether because this area has not been too exploited commercially or it could be because it was a workday and not a weekend. Though on this beach there are several resorts that provide direct views overlooking the sea. Resorts that are said to be managed by investors from outside this is not too crowded. At that time I saw only a few Caucasians who are sunbathing while enjoying the scenery offshore.
