On the Cvilin Hill near Krnov (Czech republic) stands a Pilgrimage Church of the Virgin Mary Sedmibolestné and The Elevation of the Holy Cross. It was built between 1722 and 1728 by architects Andreas and George Friedrich Gansov.
The staircase leads to the church, which has 222 stairs. During the seventies of the 19th century, this stone staircase was built by chaplain Edmund Friedl.
Local residents often use this place for their walks. Near the church is the Cross Way, which consists of thirteen small chapels and one large. The Lichtenstein lookout tower is opposite.
