It has been an adventurous day for me today. The day started early at 8 am and I headed into town to look for some new fitness clothes for the gym and my exercises. with my height, it's always a pain shopping online as different brands normally have slight size differences so I opted to shop around in town instead and make a note of the sizes so if I do need more clothing I can then look online.
I spent most of the day shopping around but only ended up buying just one item and that was A pair of joggers as they were on clearance at the Nike store and I needed to use my coupon anyway.
it was around 2pm when I finished my shopping and as the weather was so nice I decided to stay in the city and spend the afternoon playing both Pokemon Go and Geocaching.
During my Geocaching route, I noticed one that had been placed on A route I could take to get back home, I have walked this way A few times but with so many easier paths nearby I don't walk this particular way as much after all this route is just steps.
The route itself is quite hidden, you have to walk down A narrow path off the main road between some houses. As you can see, once there the only way is up. There are also lots of steps and the steps continue along and around the wall.
After climbing some steps I turn around the admire the views despite trees blocking the views it is still a unique spot there are also some doorway entrances into the wall but unfortunately the gates remain and they are also chained shut preventing people from being able to walk in the walls.
I manage to get to the top of the steps and now the path splits off in multiple directions that all lead to A main road at the top of the hill.
After reaching the very top and where the biggest tower of the wall remains there is another doorway but sadly once again gated off.
I put my phone through the gate to get A good view of the inside of this unique tower in the wall. It seems over the years nature has been taking over the wall with bushes, grass and bits of trees growing through the walls.
Although just A short trail to walk along it is fairly hidden and easy to miss and it is worth A quick visit to admire the historic walls that were built around the 13th century.
I found the Geocache tucked away behind A post nicely disguised as A Decoy rock blending in with the walls.
This will conclude my post for today, thank you for reading.
