My first travel post
I recently went to the national zoo and had a wonderful day with so many animals.
Dehiwala Zoological Garden is one of the oldest zoological gardens in Asia. It has a substantial collection of worldwide animals. Diversity of the zoo is indicated by the presence of an aquarium, walk through aviary, reptile house, butterfly garden and many small enclosures.The official website is here http://nationalzoo.gov.lk/zoo/

The amazon MACAW birds are very colorful and cheerful always.
Shoo..... the bear is having a nap in the pool and he cares no one staring at him.lol
The beaver is swimming happily in his pool searching for a fish for his breakfast.
The mighty tigers are here.These too are sleeping as it was a bit hot Sunday afternoon.
And the white tiger is awake and calmly walking around the park.

The sloth bear.He can be seen only in Sri Lanka and India.
