What's the one most important thing for a digital nomad?
It's not the phone. To me, it's the laptop.
Because I earn a living online, the laptop is like my rice bowl. It puts food in my mouth.
I don't write on a phone, I use the laptop. So now, based on my title, you would have guessed that I probably screwed up my laptop.
This...
And this...
Don't mix.
Yeah. No big deal. It happens to many people all the time.
But I'm a careful person when it comes to dealing with fragile tech gadgets. If there's one thing that'll outlast any of my quick dry clothes or Keen shoes, it's my iPhone and Mac. Unless shit hits the fan.
Any today- it did.
That sh*t happens to be water.
That appeared out of thin air.
Can someone tell me how the water 'fell' from above?
There isn't any hole or leak whatsoever. The spill doesn't happen in a projectile manner. And the beam you're staring at is made out of wood. So it doesn't conduct or transport the water.
By now, you would have also guessed that I definitely won't be recommending this cafe as workplace. The wifi is not fantastic anyway.
And coffee? Meh…
Speaking of coffee, you should check out Secawan & Such if you're in Penang. One of the best I've tasted.
Back to the original discussion, this incident happened to me at a cafe called Shinise (Sekeping Pinang)
Situated just opposite of the Ghost Museum (pretty sure it's not coincidental)
The interior… but I was seated below a solid wood. Not under the steel netting.
This cosy cafe is actually more suitable for meet ups, and gatherings. Dates too maybe. But not for work.
At this moment, I'm just glad I don't have a deadline to rush…
Also thanks to dearest 's Mac to prepare for this post.
As for tonight's agenda, I'm just going to wait for my Mac to dry up in my bag of rice.
PS: If you feel bad for me, an upvote would definitely make my day. But if you're feeling indifferent for me, an upvote would still mean something… it means that you're an epicly nice person to upvote my post haha! So yeah thanks for your upvote...
