I have never seen anything like that. It started like a great idea to collect toys so that their owners come and collect them. I think that maybe some owners came they but they liked the idea so much that they just left the toys behind. You are right, the collection is considerably big. I'm sure that it would be great for those toys if there would be placed somewhere inside to protect them from the weather. It will be a huge loss for the city once they will be completely damaged..
I was thinking to go to Lviv for such a long time as I've heard that it is a beautiful city. Once I get there, I will definitely visit this 'museum'.
Your photos are very nice. They feel kind of moody which gives this place a certain strange feeling (well, it's a strange place anyway, isn't it?)
