Hello traveler,
When I have been traveling in Greece I went to the butcher shop to buy a lamb. Then I have a talk with a local man who recommended me this place before I head Athens.
Last year the weather was perfect for workout so first I went in the front the fortress for warm up and take some photos.
You can drive up to top and have a walk around with an amazing view over the Argolic Gulf. If you choose to take over 1000 steps you need to still pay 8 euro for entry !!!
The fortress was a very large and ambitious project, but was finished within a relatively short period from 1771 until 1714. It is typical baroque fortress.Captured by the Turks and remained under their control until 1822, when it was captured by the Greeks
