My pictures today are of a WW2 Pillbox in Great Barton, I found this whilst walking the dog. These pillboxes can be found all over England and its a real treat when you find one. These were built during the Second World War by the Home Guard as a line of defense against and invading German army. Thankfully these were never needed and since the war many was fallen into disrepair, have been destroyed or buried under a layer of soil. This one though was in great condition (it looks like some locals are looking after it) and you can go in and have an explore.
