It is Waterfall Wednesday again and my entry for today is from Canada
On the Icefields Parkway between Jasper and Banff you can find several beautiful waterfalls. The most powerful one is Athabasca Falls 30 km south of Jasper. It is known for its large quantity of water going through a narrow gorge and therefore generating a lot of force.
There are several viewing platforms from where you can watch and photograph the waterfall.
After the narrow gorge the river gets calm and peaceful again...
All photos are my own work.
