Some time ago we visited Bergen, a wonderful city on the west coast of Norway. Friends had warned us that it rains a lot over there but to our big surprise we had four days of sunshine and that is very exceptional the local people told us. Bergen is surrounded by seven mountains and mount Fløyen is one of them. There is a funicular that takes you to an altitude of 325 meters. The ride is almost a kilometer long in distance.
From that point you can make walks, have a wonderful view over the city and drink a cup of coffee with cake in the restaurant.
