If Spring was a race the bulbs have won it and the Magnolias must have come second!

It seems to have left the starting line before the Sakura could even sprout their buds. Some of their delicate petals were already dropping on the ground and some were even wilting before the second week of April.

I have often spent the weekends sniffin' them flowers in full bloom in one of my favorite havens which I have so often written about in here, almost every Spring. This is what it looks like early April.

These days, more flowers are in bloom! The tips of them witches' painted nails, lipstick tips and laced and shelled easter eggs are already showing. I can't wait till they fill the place with their beautiful, colorful, lovely blooms that would probably make all sorts of bees buzzing about. It's probably just a week from now when they do that. I can't wait to go back.

It's not just the Magnolias that were showin' off their beautiful blooms there but the ever so many other exotic plants which you probably would only find there. To find out which other flowers are already in bloom watch this.

Yes, the summer solstice has hit us earlier and it has been a week of sunshine, warmth and cold showers for me. More so, open blooms!
