Also after reading a few of your earlier posts I thought of a book you might like on working with young people with trauma backgrounds; its called The Boy Who Was Raised As A Dog, by Bruce Perry and Maia Szalavitz. If you haven't come across it before, its a great insight into the neurological impacts trauma can have on young people, and simple, holistic approaches to understanding and safety. I think you might like it.
