My wife and I took a very short trip this past week to Northeastern Ohio to spend some time with my brother and his family. We made each of these three days count. We went to see Hall and Oates in downtown Youngstown the first night after we arrived. Hall and Oats proved that, even in their seventies, they definitely still have it. They played a lot of their hits over the course of two hours and many of those songs were still running through our heads the next day. The opening act, G-love and The Special Sauce was great as well.
During the visit, my brother and I biked a total of nearly fifty miles over three days. We explored many miles of the gorgeous Mill Creek Bikeway. As you can see, the scenery along the way was unbelievable.
I also had the pleasure of driving my brother’s Mustang for the very first time. I have to say that driving a car with 505 horsepower is a LOT more fun than driving my Toyota Prius (until it's time to buy gas, that is.)
My five year old nephew and I also got some good one-on-one time playing Beyblades, his new favorite pastime. He also schooled me on all the fine details of dinosaurs and Transformers. The kid is like a walking encyclopedia.
As usual, the best part of the trip was just to be able to spend time with family.
I hope you enjoy this photo montage of our journey!
