The late gothic style Matthias Church is one of the most known and photographed landmarks of Budapest, hundreds of tourists flock around it every day and it's hard to get an interesting picture when most of the pictures will be filled with other tourist, everyone pointing their camera to the church.
We were lucky to come in through some smaller side entrance, like the sneaky bitches we are, and were met with the phallic tower emerging right on top of the stairs. I was basically laying on the stairs to get the whole tower in and waiting other tourist to stick their heads out of my image. The second view was an accidental sight we got an another day of walking around the grounds near the church.
And here is a more of a traditional view of the gorgeous church. I could hardly fit it in the 18mm end of my Sigma lens, it's so BIG! Had to get the tip on the image too. Sidenote: I don't know what the story behind the black mismatch tower is but I think that the architect went "Fuck it, let's change it up a bit!", and I applaud him for that.
