We had one rainy day during our two week stay in Hua Hin, Thailand, and these pictures go well with my blue feeling for coming back home to Finland today. I have quite a lot of material form my holiday, and I'll be posting those for probably the next week, while I try to get over the hangover of a great holiday.
Okay, these pictures are not actually that blue in terms of feelings, even though it is raining. Most of the people hurried inside and stayed there until the rain was gone, but the few that were out, I stalked with my camera, the Nikon D7200 and the Nikkor 55-200mm f/4-5.6G lens. We stayed dry on a porch of a bar called the Elephant Bar, that we had hanged out on some nights before.
People stalking with a zoom lens is so much fun, I can usually get away with it quite easily without people noticing me taking a picture of them. The girl on the first picture was buying more hair dye mid-colouring, it made me laugh because I've been there once!
The third picture is my personal favourite, because there is a story to it, even though I only captured the first part of it. She ran across the street with that bucked covering her from the rain, the next time I saw her, she had a plastic bag over her head, and the third time, after maybe half an hour, she had finally gotten an umbrella, the tag still hanging from it.
"Hey girl, come out here, I got some juicy gossip to share!"
"Lol what's up?"
"WOMAN! Stop blabbering out there and go make me that sandwich!"
Full upvote for couple of people who can come up with a funny conversation or story for the people in the three pictures above!
Thank you for keeping my plants well fed and flourishing while I was away. I can't wait for our travels together to Budapest next month!
PS. My mom brought me cabbage casserole she had made, because she knows it's one of my fave foods and knew that I wouldn't have any energy to source food for myself today.
PPS. Ah, love having the high speed internet back!
