Fried Cod And Sweet Potato Fries Are Delicious Local Street Foods At Pier 57
Pier 57, with it's small unique eateries, has some of the worlds most fabulous street food. Go to any of the warmer places, and you will find little carts of some of the best street foods the world has to offer. But is the world of "little eats" only for places like Taiwan? Absolutely not! Here on pier 57 you will see the small carts during the dry and warm season, but year around you will find quaint little eateries with some of the best street food on the market.
There are local hangouts like Ivar's Seafood Bar that specialize in things like fish, chips and chowders. This is enough to make your mouth water, just thinking of them. Then there is Pop Pop Thai Street Food, that specialize in all the unique and tantalizing small little snacks of Thailand. This homey little eatery has world class spring rolls, awesome noodles, and curry that is out of this world.
If you are not in the mood for street food, then check out one of the restaurants at Pier 57. like The Fisherman's Restaurant and Bar. In these small seafood restaurants you will find specialty dinners from the Pacific Northwest and other family styled entrees. Most of these family restaurants have both indoor and outdoor seating. How does a fish dinner sound with all the trappings? You can have all this plus the experience of waterfront dinning.
So if you have come to the pier to enjoy the experience of Seattle's Great Wheel, be sure to linger for a delicious lunch or dinner. There is nothing like the fresh seafood of the day to end a Pier 57 adventure. Rain or shine, there is a perfect eatery for the occasion.
