Hello fellow Steemians! Today we will take you to amazingly beautiful country, Morocco.
This time we're going to share experience from our journey to capital city of Morocco, Rabat, so buckle your seat belts, this is going to be interesting.
As you can clearly see, we didn't buckle up, but we love danger.....and bananas. :)
It was a well organised expedition and we had quite a big group ( three full minivans ) of adventure seekers. We drove the whole way from Latvia through the whole Europe and finally to Morocco and back. We covered around 11 000+ KM during this journey and trust us,spending so much time in a van is not an easy task, yet we had loads of fun playing ridiculously funny games and laughing most of the time.
After two days and two nights on the road, we finally arrived to our first destination, Rabat, where we stayed in a fairly cheap hostel called ''Youth Hostel'' with separate men and women rooms. That's not how youth likes to spend their time during the night. :)
BTW, they didn't have hot shower, so our arrival was very refreshing.

After a well deserved rest, we could finally go and explore the city and since Rabat is on the coast, we first went to see the ocean.
The Coast line was stunning. When you listen to waves throwing themselves against the rocks over and over again, you realise how powerful ocean really is.
This was our crazy group of travellers. Each and everyone of them is very interesting and special person. We will try to get them on Steemit. :)
After a great time by the coastline, we went into Medina ( Old town). Every building there is very old and all the roads are very narrow, but that's part of the beauty.
Walking through narrows streets of Old town, you suddenly walk into the market, where you can buy the ripest and freshest fruits you ever had, some amazing local sweets with bees in them and souvenirs.
Superoldschool clock, to be honest, it was pretty accurate.

After a great day in Rabat, it was time to fuel up and move to our next destination, Fes.
In our next posts about Morocco we will share all the beauty we have seen while staying in desert, camping in the valley, hiking, climbing and conquering Mount Toubkal (the highest Atlas mountain) and many others.
If you've been or want to go to Morocco, don't hesitate to share your thoughts in our comment section.
