My world level friends! today i want to share some information about a famous pilgrims place the Rishikesh, The meaning of word Rishikesh is Lord of Sense. Basically it is situated bottom of the Himalaya and besides of the Holy River Ganga.
It is in India and under the northern state Uttrakhand. This place is also famous for Yoga and Meditation and this is also alcohol free zone along with non-veg. Since ancient time lots of Sages and Saints arrives here to enhance knowledge and do meditation it is continue till now. The cold and chill place with lots of beauty like the Himalaya and green trees and the pure Ganga water. when i was there i drink water of blowing Ganga water at least 1 liter and i can't explain the taste of it.
I am not professional tourist adviser anymore but today think that i will share about Rishikesh any how.
It is said that when Lord Rama and younger brother Laxman searching Goddess Sita after kidnapped by Demon King Ravana then they crossed the Ganga river by a bridge made by Laxmana and currently available with name of Laxman Jhulla ( Laxman Bridge ) and it is hanging on Juite Rope.
Interested people can reach here via:
- From New Delhi to Haridwar then Rishikesh ( Distance between Haridwar and Rishikesh is only 25 km.
- Also can be reached from Deharadun a southeast state of India.
